Octagonal Stick
Are carbon fiber bows good?
I’ve been playing the violin for roughly 4 years now and I’m thinking about buying a new bow. I would like to get a wooden bow, but I’m worried it won’t be of good quality because I’m on a very, very strict budget (up to $300). I came across a few carbon fiber bows that looked promising, but I’d like to know if they’re any good at this price.
Here is one of the carbon fiber bows I found online

Here’s one of the pernambuco bows

Thanks in advance!
That is a very low price for a decent bow. Between the two I would pick the carbon fiber.
