Carved Great
What’s the point of praising God when…? Part 2?
Extended from my former question. OK, saying thanks for our life, creation etc… Is good BUT dont you agree that as our universal parent, the God that is and creates everything it is rather silly to build gold churches, and statues in his honor? Whats the point of building a pure gold church or carving great statues in honor of God when he has the beauty of the stars and angels and the riches of the universe to admire! Apart from the artists of course because of thier effort shows the love, the dedication but the buying thereof the actual monetary value is insignificant! Dont you think the best way to honor your parents or teacher is to utilize those abilities best you can, after all, whats the point of raising a bird that refuses to fly? Consider if your son was Einstein would you prefer he stays home, praises you and washes ur dishes or claims his rightful place as Genius and works those talents?
Hello Sarah,
I agree with you that when a group builds a Fancy expensive building it is rather silly and a waste of good money that coukld have gone to something more helpful to others. I also agree that wasting what is given to us by GOD is certainly NOT a way to show our gratitude. However, try to remember that if war had not pushed Einstein out of his home country and a group of men in the USA had not convinced him that the A-Bomb would save lives, he would never have been known for his genius at all. Have a wonderful day and a glorious week.
Thanks,
