Folk Play
What would you think of a person who went into a senior center, and stopped folks from playing a fun game?
Or intruded in and interfered with the game, because the intruder thought the folks weren’t playing the game properly? Then insisted that the folks play the game according to his, the intruder’s, interpretation of the rules, and if the folks wouldn’t play by his rules, he would do what he could to get the center’s management to force an end to the playing of the game.
What would you think of a person who behaved in that manner?
What would I think of a person who behaved that way? I don’t think much of a person who always has to have things go his way or else. They seem to get their kicks, by ruining other people’s fun. It’s what they do because they crave attention. Many who act that way, have deep seeded problems that go way back to childhood. ( super strict parents or the dad was a real controlling tyrant) At a young age, they never learned how to get along with people & as they got older, they never learned to be tolerant/accepting of people. They can’t seem to break the cycle, thus turning people off with their behavior, because they don’t know how/don’t want to change. That person wants to be liked & accepted but instead, drives everyone away. A bully & a controller act the same way. Again, they think they’re superior, but they’re not. They are however, very insecure about themselves, so bullying and/or controlling others, gives that person the power they crave. Little do they know, that type of behavior is a real turn off & can be self destructing as well. What a lonely existence.
